This session was a favorite of mine from last Fall. This location has so much to offer and is a favorite of mine for beach sessions because there is so much versatility, from the reeds, sand dunes, ice plant and wildflowers to the beautiful light on the seashore with Cabrillo Point in the background. This spot has an “East Coast” look to it and high tide is never an issue since the beach is huge. I always try to steer all of my clients who want beach images to this location because I can always find a ton of inspiration from this setting. To me, it is the perfect beach!
I love seeing this family year after year and seeing how much their kids have grown. Getting to know them on a personal basis has been such a pleasure for me, as I’ve photographed them since they were expecting their little girl. Their love and connection together is apparent in each of these images. I adore photographing them because there are always “magic” moments, all I have to do is be ready to capture them.
