It was such an honor to spend this special day with Tam & Joel as they exchanged wedding vows before their loved ones. The warm, gorgeous day began in the morning with a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony where their families exchanged gifts and Tam and Joel each served their future in-laws tea. I loved that they wore traditional Vietnamese costumes for this. It was such a touching part of the day. Afterwards, everyone was served lunch, including myself. The food was delicious! The ceremony at San Dieguito Park was incredibly beautiful and they incorporated many unique and sweet traditions from both sides of their heritage. I really enjoyed experiencing so many wonderful traditions and it was a privilege to photograph their wedding day and be invited into their lives like a family member. I loved documenting their happiness and love. What an adorably fun couple with big smiles to match! They both were so happy, animated and full of life and love.
