I am so excited to share this fun engagement session from last month. Tam & Joel wanted a playful vibe to their session and they wanted to incorporate their bikes since they both run triathlons. So, I suggested Solana Beach as our location, so that we could start out in the Cedros Design District with their bikes, then move on to nearby Fletcher Cove Park for some fun on the swings, and then finish off their session down on the beach for some pretty and romantic light.
When we arrived at the beach, they wanted to take some images in memory of their late dog, a boston terrier named Penny. She had just passed over the rainbow bridge a few days prior to their session. Rather than postpone their session, they used their engagement session to remember her and document the strength of their relationship. I know it’s tough to lose a beloved pet, most especially a dog. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart. May their sweet Penny rest in peace.
Since we had three different locations for their session, there were so many images that it was tough to narrow it down. Look at how adorable they are together! I’m really looking forward to photographing their wedding in August.
