I am so excited to share these sweet mommy and me portraits that I captured last Fall at Presidio Park. It all began when this sweet mom inquired about a session and I came to her home for a consultation. We discussed some ideas for what she wanted to capture of her and her daughter and how she wanted to have these images printed for her home. I was so happy she wanted to book a session with me and we immediately started working on styling their outfits. I knew this was going to be a special session because she is stunning and her two-year-old daughter is adorable! Lelia decided she would wear a navy blue jumper accented with pearls on the sleeves and her two-year-old daughter Lola would wear a mustard yellow dress with boots. I love this color combo! They truly were the perfect pair!
Large Framed Art that makes a statement
A couple weeks after their session I met with Lelia again at her home to help her design a wall gallery of framed art for her living room, and she decided upon these three favorite images. I do love large wall art because it really makes a statement. Later, Lelia told me that Lola really loves seeing the images of herself with her mommy on the walls everyday and she points at the pictures all the time.
The Value of a Fine Art Album
I was thrilled that Lelia also chose a gorgeous heirloom quality matted image fine art album that we had printed for her with ten more of her favorite images. The blue fabric she chose for the cover is stunning and so luxurious to touch. We had their names embossed on the cover on the bottom right and the back was embossed tastefully with my logo. When it arrived, it was like Christmas! I love it when clients choose to order an album in addition to wall art from their sessions with me. There is something very nostalgic about sitting down with your kids and looking through a beautiful handcrafted album together. It takes me back to my childhood days when I would go through the albums that my Mom and Grandmother put together of our family’s memories. Those memories are priceless. Lastly, it made my day to receive an amazing Google review and a Yelp review from Lelia about her experience with me. Making personal connections with clients by serving them with the best customer service and exceeding their expectations is always my goal. I am so excited that soon I will be able to photograph these two again for another Mommy & Me session this Fall. Earning a client’s loyalty and trust is something I do not take lightly as I know that San Diego is such a saturated market and there are many talented choices out there for family photography. Whenever a client hires me, whether it’s the first time or the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th time, I know it is such a privilege to be chosen to photograph their family.
