My friend and fellow photographer Ashley and I have photographed each others’ families a few times over the past couple of years. I love how comfortable our families have gotten with each other, which results in fun and relaxed photos.
For this session, Ashley’s daughter Pepper, who has cerebral palsy, was recovering from a recent surgery and she was still wearing casts on her legs. We wanted to document her at this milestone while learning to use her walker. In addition to having such a strong and fierce spirit, she’s lucky to have two older brothers who help her and protect her, as well as an amazing Mom and Dad who encourage and support her every step of the way. Look for a fun photo of the kids with Nerf guns towards the end of this post that Ashley wanted me to capture of the three of them. I love this family! They are so fun and full of personality, and I am blessed to have them in my life.
