I’m so excited to share this San Diego Family Portrait Session at Coronado Beach. This beautiful family is part of our “soccer family” as our sons play competitive club soccer together. We see each other almost every weekend for games and tournaments and love watching our sons grow through the love of the sport. One of my favorite things to do is to watch my son and his team play in their games on the weekends. At this age and level, it is so fun, and sometimes very intense as a parent, to watch them play.
GORGEOUS SOFT TONES & LIGHT
It was such an honor to photograph this gorgeous family last Fall. The soft tones of their clothing went perfectly with the colors at Coronado Beach, from the grass reeds and warm sand dunes, to the blues in the ocean water and sky. I remember the forecast called for some rain and we almost postponed this session. I’m so glad we pushed on because it was only a few sprinkles that led to such beautiful light at sunset. Even though it was a little chilly that evening, the benefit was having the beach entirely to ourselves! These kids had so much fun on the empty beach, as you will see in these photos.
Their adorable daughter wore a hand-made flower crown for some of the images. I must confess I could photograph mommies and daughters together all day. There is so much beauty in the mommy-daughter connection that I love to capture.
I loved the gorgeous lighting we got for this session. We were so lucky to have the skies open up at sunset and right after sunset, creating such stunning pink tones and reflections. I’m always thankful for the opportunity to freeze time for my gorgeous family clients as well as the beautiful light we are blessed with in America’s Finest City of San Diego.
EVERY CLIENT RECEIVES BEAUTIFUL FINE ART HEIRLOOMS OF THEIR CHOOSING
I love that this family chose to have a wall gallery of framed images, which complimented these images perfectly. See the fine art frame gallery at the end of this blog post. It is so rewarding to know that my clients have fine art custom printed heirlooms from their portrait sessions with me. Seeing how much my clients love their images and helping them print their images to be enjoyed in their hearts and their homes is a large part of why I do what I do. I am incredibly thankful to be able to do this work.
