A few months ago I formed a group on FB for San Diego Pro Photographer Moms. Three of us got together spontaneously one afternoon to create some creative portraits of each other. I had been collecting vintage dresses from thrift stores and was eager to to try my hand at styling. This was such a great way to push ourselves out of our comfort zones and shoot just for ourselves. I went way more dramatic and dark with my editing than I am used to (with the second set of photos), and I even played around with some make up brushes in Photoshop. So much fun! In a way, these two sets of photos turned out to be an exploration of light vs. dark and I am pleased with how they turned out.
