This recent lifestyle session was about the joy of play and the fun of discovering the curiosities that exist in the natural world–Mommy showing her one-year-old a little beetle on the ground, a bird flying through the air, or the wildflowers growing along the trails. It was fun to see how these little curiosities become new again for a Mommy seeing them through her child’s eyes. Josie was such an adorable and smiley child. It was quite serendipitous that Deb found a flower wreath someone had made and left on the grass. It fit perfectly on Josie’s head and made for my most favorite shot of this session. What a fun photo shoot! I had a lot of fun processing these photos. I played around with some vintage tones for a few photos and added some textures. I mostly prefer clean edits, but sometimes certain photos call for a vintage tone. 🙂
