My dear friend Katie wanted romantic portraits taken with her husband. The last time they had professional photos taken together was for their engagement and wedding photos some five years ago.
It got me thinking, why not commemorate your love together in photos again (separate from your children) just because or for an anniversary? It’s been eight years since my husband and I had professional photos taken together. This session has inspired me in so many ways. I had so much fun that I realized I really love doing couples portraits. And, I’ve decided I want to have portraits taken with my husband soon.
For this session, we started out on the trails above one of our favorite beaches and finished our session down on the beach. We had such a variety of scenes. It truly was a beautiful setting with so much natural beauty. And, lucky me–I had such a gorgeous couple to work with. Katie and Ed were so fun to photograph. You can just feel the love between them in these photos. It is so romantic! 😉 I love my job! I got to spend a gorgeous evening doing what I love–photography, while hiking along some coastal trails and on the beach with two great people. Who could ask for anything more?
I had so many favorites from this session I had a hard time narrowing it down. If it isn’t already obvious, this was one of my most favorite sessions. 🙂
